My passions which is photography

In this Hub I would to write about one of my greatest passions which is photography.
I can remember while I was at college in the early eighties doing a City and Guilds plumbing course.
After reading read a few books on plumbing I just felt that I needed something different to read.
Instead of going to the library pick up three books on plumbing I decide to cut it down to two.
Well that is when I first decided to take a look at photography.
It also gave me the inspiration to look at my physic books all over again.
The idea of looking at lens, focal length and the maths that goes with it.
I spent quite a while looking at this but without a camera.
It was some five years later I found myself Staring through a shop window in Basingstoke.
My eyes landed on a Pentax K2, I fell in love with it immediately.
I walked into the shop and asked to have a look at it, when I held it in my hands, I knew.
Running my hands along the bottom of the camera I knew this was the one I must have.
The engineering on it, the feel of the metal and the its balanced in my hands.
After playing with the camera for about fifteen minutes I knew it was deposit time.
Paid my deposit collected my receipt, and it was see you next week.
I made my commitment, and this is one I knew I was going to follow through.
In the Hub I'll share some of the joys and pleasure that commitment have given me.
